Here we are! one day before our Rehersal Dinner and 3 days before our WEDDING!
I hope someone is reading this Blog... =)
We've got a lot of packing to do tonight...(did i mention how much i hate packing)!
feels like we're moving with the amt of stuff we have to bring for the whole weekend...
My co-workers held a surprise Bridal Shower for me, complete with decorations, beautiful cake and some thoughtful presents!
Joe's co-workers also had cake for him and gave him a VERY generous present!
We were delighted to see that even our co-workers wish us well! It's such a nice feeling! and it'll only happen once, so let's enjoy it! =)
All the vendors have been double confirmed and we're ready to go!
I am so excited and I can't wait to see everyone!!!

Well, just 10 days until the wedding. What should I be expecting? Panic, calm? It was a little hectic a few weeks ago, when we had to revisit everything that we previous planned way in advance. Just a few more things to do on Sunday, then a few more on next Friday and Saturday.
I have to wax the snowboards and change the oil in the car for the trip. I hope the slopes open early!
As the day approaches, the house to-do list doesn't get any easier. With the two of us being mildly sick the past few days, not a lot has gotten finished. Hopefully, tonite will be good.
We finally get some time to ourselves on Saturday. We are planning to go to a local County park, and to Frenchtown for some antiques, lunch, and leaves. I sound married already. ...then maybe we can watch the made-for-TV movie on CBS that night (and she can fall asleep halfway through it).

Our new couches came on Saturday and they are perfect! Now for paint colors.. ugh.. no idea!
My gals threw me an awesome BACHELORETTE PARTY on Saturday night. We had a blast!
They got us a LIMO and we went into Philly, to the Old City section... then onto another section..and then our final stop was Geno's Steaks at 2:30am. Crazy that it was packed that late.. but it was yummy!
But Saturday morning I had woken up with a sore throat and now i'm officially sick. UGH!
At least it's still about 2 weeks till the wedding.... i need to GET BETTER, QUICK!
Our parents and Joe and I completed the table assignments. It went very well and the tables just seemed to pick themselves. It was great!
ta-ta- for now!

Hi!!! Since the last entry we've moved fully into our new home and it's coming along nicely. Tomorrow our new couch comes! Once that is in place, we'll be able to start thinking about paint colors for the downstairs to coordinate with the couch!
But house stuff is getting put on the back burner for the next 2 weeks b/c of the wedding being so close!!
Everyone has been such a great help and support! There are a million details that we need to work out to stage everyone for the day.
This weekend our parents and Joe and I will be doing the table seating arrangements.. that should be interesting =)
Saturday is Tracie and Debbie's Final dress fitting, then to the salon for nails and pedicures.... then.. BACHELORETTE PARTY!!
my gals got everyone together for dinner and partying.. and a LIMO is picking us up at my parents house to bring us into Philly! SO SUPER EXCITED! (i love being in limo's!)
I really need a break from house and wedding planning to spend quality time with my wonderful friends! I am soo looking forward to tomorrow night!!!

It sure has been a while!
The past few days, we have been looking at couches and refridgerators. Why? Because we GOT A HOUSE! I think that the agreement came on the house on July 24, 2004. We were only looking for about a month, and we had to get this one-FAST! We were the first people to look at it, and we didn't want it to slip away. PICTURES!
We settle on Sept. 14. We have about 6 weeks to move in, since our lease ends at the end of October. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, full (unfinished) basement, 1 car garage. It is a single family attached (a.k.a. "Twin"). All the houses in the neighborhood look great.
So, we are waiting for the mortgage paperwork to go through, and looking at things to buy to fill it, like a fridge, couches, china hutch, etc. I need to do some minor repairs, and of course paint, as well as construct my workshop in the basement.
We are kinda busy in the upcoming weeks, with visits scheduled to our friends', and my Lake Placid trip for a GIS workshop the week after closing.
After struggling the last couple of years to get ourselves planted, things are FINALLY falling into place! Thanks Lisa and all my friends and family for helping us out, and giving us the encouragement to push ahead.

Hi everyone!
The big day is getting so close, i just can't belive it.
My 25th birthday just past and i had 4 wonderful days of Birthday!
For my 25th birthday, my parents gave me the "something new" part of that little rhyme, a beautiful crucifix that had caught my eye during a shopping trip with Joe, that i will so proudly wear on my wedding day! It was total surprise that they got it for me!!!
We have some final details to settle as far as the menu and table settings. We have yet to get Joe to a tux shop to try on different tux styles.. that will be fun!
Two weekends ago we decided on the cake flavor and decoration. The bakery was amazing and the cake designer was even more wonderful!
I booked my appt for my first dress fitting, for November..
The invitations were ordered and have arrived and have been sitting at my parents house for a few weeks now. Mr. Geib bought the beautiful stamps that will go on them!
that's all for now!

Hi! Soo much done, SOO much to do!
What an experience this has been! It's about 6 months until the wedding and i'm soo excited!
We finally booked the limo and picked the bridesmaids dresses! This weekend we are having a tasting at the restaurant that is catering the reception. YUM YUM. It will be catered by Aliperti's, which is a 5 star Italian restaurant, that caters exclusivly for The Gran Centurians.
We also have a meeting with Deacon Cammarano , wraping up our wedding preparation.
We'll also be looking at the florist again, trying to decide on flowers!!
I'm working on the final revision for the invitations and all the reception goodies!
This coming weekend is the NJGAP Greyhound Summer picnic in Bridgewater NJ, We hope to go and bring the girls.. Mesa and Genie!
Bye!!

I know it's been a week, but what a week it has been!
Lisa and I (and Joe Turic) went to Lake Placid and Whiteface. It was great, too bad we were only able to spend the weekend there. Baording was warm, cloudy, and windy on Saturday, and sunny, cooler, and harder on Sunday. It was great nonetheless. Cute little church in a cute little town. I would love to live up there, but the winters can be darn cold!! It was everything I had expected it to be. We got a late start both days (imbibing one day, and repentence the next), but we got the most of our trips.
I got a new car this week!! I traded in my 97 Impreza for a 99 Outback. More room, more power, less miles, and more smiles. Everything should work out.
The never-ending job saga continues this week as well. After 2 weeks at my current job in Allentown (part-time), I went on a good interview with another company. This one would allow me to run the entire GPS/GIS data collection project on my own. I would do 50/50 with field/office work. I would be out collecting GPS data for local munis that want to finally document all their infrastructure in GIS. It would also entail some tech support and future training sessions. Great opportunity for personal and career growth.
Despite everything good/bad/hectic that has been going on, I have been able to handle it calmly and in stride!! :^)
All because I have my Lisa at my side!
We get to go to the Country soon!!!

Well, the past weekend was interesting. We went on our Engaged Encounter Weekend for church, and it was interestingly fun. In the beginning, I was all closed-minded, and questionable about the experience. I was wrong.
Over the weekend, we answered a series of questions about ourselves, our perception of each other, and what they thought, and other questions about life, and how it will turn out. Then, we would discuss our answers. The weekend is desinged to allow you to find a deeper understanding and love within each other, while disconnecting from the wedding plans and other distractions. It sure did that!
When I walked out of there on Sunday afternoon, yeah, I was oblivious to the happennings of the world and wanted to check my email and voicemail, and to 'reconnect' so badly. Guess what, NO ONE CALLED!! If they had, it really didn't matter. I had a great weekend with Lisa, and we were able to connect (or 'reconnect') so deeply that she (and we) is all that really matters.
I seem to be rambling, but I guess that's because I cannot express with words what had happened. I was in another world when I got home Sunday night. It is a shame, though, that I have to go back into the uncaring, cruel world that we live in. It's an overall downer, but when I go home to Lisa and my family, that's when I realize what is really important.
Lake Placid this weekend!!!

Well, this weekend was pretty productive. Heck, the whole week was good for me/us. As for the wedding, we booked the DJ, photographer, and have a handle on the rooms. This puts us much closer to our finish. As for me, I got the job offer that I have been waiting for, with the engineering company in Allentown PA.
I can't wait to go to Whiteface in 2 weeks!
